Don’t Let Earthquakes Claim Stored Food And Other Supplies
Recently, I received both an e-mail and comment on Survival And Prosperity about the National Geographic Channel TV series Doomsday Preppers. In each episode, the preppers that are being followed reveal exactly what it is they are preparing for. And quite a few of them indicated they are worried about massive earthquakes.
Yet, viewers are shown food being stored in breakable, unsecured containers along with other supplies on shelving that’s open and not anchored to walls. This could be a recipe for disaster should a strong earthquake strike.
“Doomsday preppers” and others that share their concern about such events, as well as those living in earthquake-prone areas, should address the above shortcomings while putting food and other supplies into storage. Or else when the big one hits, they might be no better off than those who didn’t prepare.
Hat tip, Mike B. and K.D.

That’s one good advice about Doomsday preppers.
